Stopped here for lunch upon arrival and sat on the deck for a fabulous lunch and drinks. The chicken salad sandwich and crab cake sandwich were superb.
Wonderful Experience Open Air Dining on the Deck
We ate dinner at BJ’s last night, Sept. 22. It was a Tuesday during the off season and there was about a 40 minute wait. Some people complain about this kind of thing, but due to the fact that restaurants are not able to operate at full capacity this season and many are understaffed we totally expected to wait. It was well worth it. We sat outside on the deck and were seated just in time for a gorgeous first day of fall sunset. (Dress warmly) Pete was our server and was excellent and very friendly! We also really appreciated that he wore his mask properly. We had an appetizer, red hot and blue, which was very good, and both of us had stuffed flounder for our entrees which was amazing. We realize that everyone has had a rough season and is exhausted but we never would have known that with the excellent service we received. Thank you for a great experience!
All Around Excellent Experience
Drinks were great, food was excellent and service was impeccable. I ordered a dirty martini and my husband got the BJs crush. Both were delicious and generous. Robert was our server and was very attentive but did not hover or rush us. I had the shrimp imperial which was fabulous. My husband ordered the French onion soup and rockfish wrap and he enjoyed both. Food is reasonably priced as well. BJs does an excellent job training their staff as we have always had excellent service.
Had great experience in June 2020 & again in August 2020. One of our must go-to places when in Ocean City. Great burgers and pulled pork. Had friendly service both times.
Nice patio deck with view of the bay. Good menu variety, prices and friendly staff. Oh an yes , I had the catch of the day (mahi-mahi) and it was delicious.
The crab cakes will blow your mind
ll the food is excellent. The mussels were great, but the lump crab cake was mind blowing. If you are in Ocean City, Maryland I highly recommend you avoid all the hype and go to this long standing amazing restaurant.
Had a very good dinner
Had a very good dinner at BJ’s. middle of February, middle of week. Service was speedy and courteous. Food was great. We had stuffed flounder and crab imperial, both delicious!
Not fancy, just good food with a good view
Decided to give this place a try after the OC Boat Show because it has gluten free options. Glad we did! The potato skins were actually potato wedges loaded with cheddar cheese and bacon, with sour cream on the side. Enough for a meal for two people. My husband who doesn’t have to worry about gluten got the seafood pizza and loved it. The waitress was super friendly and we enjoyed the view of the bay, as well as, identifying the ducks. We’ll be back!
The best food, service and sunsets I’ve had in Ocean City Maryland. From burgers to gourmet meals, Bj’s on the Bay never disappoints. Live music with no cover charge as well. I highly recommend a visit.
Good place to grab a bite and listen to music
We hit this place the night we got into town – the spicy crab soup and the steamed spiced shrimp were really good!!! Beer was plentiful and cold. service was good – they had live music and it was a really good vibe – everything worked…. they did not stray too far from who they are and that’s good! in a town of a lot of good choices this is like a comfy pair of jeans…. yes some places look better but this feels just right.
Just discovered this place last year and will be eating here every year. Amazing food and amazing view!!
Great views and atmosphere!
My family and I were looking for a place to have lunch before heading north (home), once inside we regret not visiting earlier in the week. We would recommend considering this location to watch a sunset (drinks or dinner). The staff was very accommodating and pleasant. My family has this as a must re-visit location when we are back in OC.
Food and Staff were Excellent!
First, my wife called to get a Gift Certificate for one of our friends and a female manager (I apologize, I forget her name) was so nice to talk and took care of putting a Gift Certificate aside for our friend, what a pleasure doing business with BJ’s!!! We got to BJ’s and sat out on the deck, what a beautiful view!!! Our server was Colin, very knowledgeable and courteous, his recommendations were spot on! I had the grilled Cajun Mahi Mahi, it was delicious, my wife had their crab cake and she enjoyed it. Thank you Colin for a great evening!
Scenic, Great Food & Fun!
I love this place. It over looks the bay. Wonderful gorgeous views with indoor and outdoor seating. Both the food and drinks are good. We went during happy hour and they had a great band playing. They have live music several times a week, just check their website for a schedule. I highly recommend this place because of its awesome ambiance! The staff is friendly and efficient. We had hamburgers with a blue goose drink, and both were so good. They have a lot to choose from on menu from appetizers, platters, salads and sandwiches.
Great Food and Views!
My husband and I recently went to this restaurant while visiting ocean city MD. The food was very good as well as the atmosphere. The restaurant is a the bay side of Ocean City so it is a good place to see the sunsets. I think they also offer a special daily drink!
Great place for families!
We recently visited BJ’s on the water with 16 month old twins. The staff was incredibly accommodating to the kids, even providing wooden toys to keep them occupied. The restaurant is right on the water with a beautiful view of the bay. They also feed ducks/geese every day at 1pm which is fun for the kids to watch out the window. Lastly, the food. The crab cakes were AMAZING! The homemade chocolate peanut butter pie was also delicious. Highly recommend visiting!
Great view of the bay!
BJ’s on the Water is a wonderful family owned restaurant with good service, great food, and beautiful views of the bay. An osprey’s nest is in clear view from the bayside windows or via the live cam views on-screen for those seated farther away. We arrived for an early dinner and the place filled up quickly with diners. I enjoyed their signature “Sunset on 75th” drink and the teriyaki chicken. My husband loved the shrimp imperial.
Very nice bayside restaurant
My spouse and I both had grilled Mahi Mahi that was excellent. Good choice of side dishes. Friendly service.
Great view and food!
Our server was great. I wish I could remember her name, just tell her the girls looking for crabs said so! I had the stuffed flounder special and it was out of this world. Great view I just wish it was warm enough on my visit to not have the screens, however still a beautiful view! I also love that the ospreys were so close.
Shrimp Imperial was fantastic!
I just love this place. The atmosphere is great and the service is wonderful. But the food is the best. Off season prices cannot be beat. Whenever I am in town this is where I go.
Outstanding early dinner of the shrimp and crab imperial special. Dollar drafts topped it off. Austin was a commendable server. Will be back this summer or sooner.
Great food, service and view on the bay!
This place is great! Very casual. Three people recommended it to us. Happy hour menu was good. There were three people in our party: Crab cake sandwich was very good, as was the crab soup. The stuffed flounder was the best I’ve ever had! I plan to return just for that!! Service was great.
Thanksgiving feast was very delicious !
My family was in town for this holiday and decided to go out rather than cook, for the first time. Boy were we treated to a good, home-cooked meal that made our holiday special. We’ve eaten many dinners at BJ’s and have never had a bad meal or experience so we went for the traditional meal. Served sit down style for $17 (dinner+ dessert), second servings allowed; it was superb. Moreover, our server was very cordial and prompt, bringing cocktails and additions. The whole plate was sufficiently hot, turkey (both white and dark meat) was juicy, stuffing and gravy tasted like mine and was excellent. I’m ashamed to say I ate some seconds as did my husband! The atmosphere was festive and bathrooms clean. Thank you BJ’s staff. We can’t wait to return
Try to be here at sunset over the bay!
The view of sunset over the bay is fantastic. We had a table next to the window. The weather was too windy and cold to sit outside. I ate from the menu which included appetizer, mean, and desert. I had steak and salad with a peanut butter pie slice. My wife stole half of my pie. My wife had the seafood sampler. It was way too much food for her. I sampled her shrimp and fish. All of the food was great. The meal for 4 adults and one child came to $131+ tip without alcohol. A bit pricey, but worth it.
Fun Place, and Good Food!
Enjoyed watching football there on Sunday with my brother and girlfriend! We are Redskin fans and his girlfriend loves the Ravens, and having both games to watch made everybody happy! The food was very good, but I didn’t quite understand why they serve a delicious crab dip with POTATO CHIPS! Not a good idea as they take away from the dip! I guess I should have asked for bread, but couldn’t get our waiters attention cause he was busy watching the game!
We were looking for a place to have a drink and watch the sunset. Found BY’s and glad we did. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The sunsets are wonderful. We look at the menu and decided to stay for dinner. Looking at the daily special, it was “Crab Imperial” and it was wonderful. It was so good we decided to return the next night for the special, “Stuffed Flounder”. I was not disappointed it was excellent. We noticed quite a number of locals in the place and I can understand why. Good food, friendly service, and fair pricing. Don’t miss this place.
Great Food, Location, Atmosphere
First visit to Ocean City-read other reviews for BJs and decided to give it a try and so glad we did. One of the best salads I’ve had in a restaurant, no iceberg lettuce, only fresh mixed greens-not a throw away piece on the plate. Fried shrimp was crispy and good sized; dinner rolls were fresh. Being from the south I prefer hush puppies but the rolls were good. Will definitely visit again.
Beautiful Bay View!
Great service! great food!! Very reasonably priced.. We had the delicious seafood medley dinner over looking a beautiful view of the bay..
Awesome Food and Martinis!
Went for dinner on Saturday night and so enjoyed! We a had a short wait, asked to be seated by the windows, and we were! The food was wonderful and our waiter, Ryan was great! Now for dessert, Chocolate and Espresso martinis! Oh my ! Fabulous! You will be pleased with the warmth of the staff , atmosphere and overall enjoyment you can have there. I will definitely eat there again.
Always a delightful dinner
Lobster imperial, red pepper bisque, best ever! Great atmosphere lovely dinner on the water. One of our favorite places to eat.
New Years Eve
Immediate seating, excellent and friendly service and delicious food. One of our favorites when in Ocean City.
Oysters with a view
Yummy raw oysters – very fresh. Good bartenders. Great views of the bay. Free popcorn at the bar. Seems to be popular with locals.
We have been here at least 4 times now and I’ve never had a bad meal. The blackened tuna is what I always get and I’ve never been disappointed. The price is just right for the amount of food you get. The staff is always friendly and fast service. We will be back again for sure.
A must stop for our family
We just visited BJ’s twice on our beach week trip. We come here every year with our family and always sit on the deck near sunset. The views and vibe are awesome. The kids love watching the ducks and my husband and I can relax with cold beers.
Most people are a little underwhelmed by the food. You need to know what to order and that you are also paying for the atmosphere and experience. I enjoyed my Shrimply Delish salad, which is pretty basic. Romain lettuce, some parmesan cheese, seasoned, grilled shrimp with a vinegrette. My husband enjoyed the pastrami sandwich, and the kids got fried shrimp.
I would suggest that you try this place. It’s been around for years, stays open year-round, and is enjoyed by locals. It’s worth the trip.
One of Our Go To Spots in OC
BJ’s is definitely one of our regular stops in Ocean City, MD. They have outdoor seating right on the bay and serve their full menu until close each night. I’m a vegetarian and they definitely have food on the menu for me. Since they completed some renovations a few years ago, the inside dining area is open, spacious, and full of natural light off the bay. One of my husbands favorite soups in the Soup du Jour, (Which happens to be the same soup day after day, year after year) roasted red pepper and crab! They also have live music on the weekends. Definitely give BJ’s on the Water if you are in Ocean City, MD.
Sits back off the main drag right on the bay. Food and drink were excellent with quite a variety of dishes. Three of us tried a burger, chicken and scallops. Everything was tastey and in generous portions. We didn’t sit at the bar but it seemed active, nice atmosphere offering an assortment of beach drinks, beers and wine. Plenty of parking. Best part of the visit was the sunset. Work dinner into the sunset.
Food Was Fantastic!
We were sat down right next to the window, and the views were fantastic. Ordered the stuffed flounder, which was really good! We had a very nice visit!!!!
Dropped in for light cuisine and live music. This place hit a homerun on both fronts.
The crowd was largely locals–a great sign. Our Seafood Skins were unbelievable. A large offering of FRESH crab, scallops and shrimp in melted cheese over potato skins.
Talked with the owner, who was very accessible, making sure everyone was enjoying their visit.
The local band (sorry, I can’t recall their name) was amazing!!!! They consisted of a drummer, guitarist and keyboard player. They latter two are father-son, and the 16 yo keyboardist brought the house down with a finale performance of Lynyrd Skynyrd’s Free Bird, that was reminiscent of a very young Jerry Lee Lewis. This young man is an example of natural talent. He’s going places.
Set right on the Bay, this establishment is very picturesque and pleasant. Go see for yourself.
We went to BJ’s for dinner & to watch the sunset. It happened to be Mother’s Day & the seafood special was out but they did have a substitution with shrimp. Our friends loved their seafood skins! Service was great & the drinks (loved the sunscreen) were good too. They also had peanut butter pie that was incredible with Oreo crust! Sunset Views were perfect!
Enjoyed. Had a great time sitting with a water view. Ordered the seafood special for $12 and it was good. We were so full we didn’t order any dessert. This is our second time going there and will go again.
Great food & View
We have been going here for decades and have never been disappointed, great food until 2 am and the best view in OC for sunset
Good Dinner and atmosphere
First time there for dinner and would definitely go back again. The atmosphere was good and so was the food.
GOOD FOOD & SERVICE
Delicious seafood crabmeat imperial to die for shrimp & flounder fantastic The one o’clock bird feeding is a must see It’s got to be 1000,s of birds on the water
GREAT FOOD AND FAST SERVICE
We have been here twice now and it is one of the best places to eat OC. The mahi-mahi was great and so was the shrimp. The prices are very reasonable. We will be back again for sure

BJ’s a Fun Place to go
We sat at the bar and had a delicious dinner and listened to a great band, Bird Dog and the Road Kings and danced all night. The bartender was very attentive and we had a great experience there. One of our favorite places to go.
We always spend at least one evening at BJ’s. This restaurant/bar has one of the best settings in Ocean City. Right on the bay with a view of sunset. There are quite a few choices on the menu. We both had the Breaded Colossal Gulf Shrimp that were flash fried. There were six good sized shrimp that were very tender. They were quite yummy and the cocktail sauce that came with the shrimp was one of the best we’ve ever tasted. The only negative is the restaurant is very noisy. The acoustics are awful! When it is busy you can barely hold a conversation with your table mates. And if they have a live band – forget it!
Fun Bayfront Hot Spot!
BJ’s has a very warm and welcoming feel the second you arrive! It’s like they’re so glad to see you and make your dining experience a GREAT one! You’ll just love the warmth you feel in this place. It’s very special! The food is fun and reasonably priced and GOOD! Be sure to try their peanut butter pie…SO yummy!!!! They throw food to the birds several times a day, so there’s always a nice selection of water birds to see from your bayfront table whether you dine inside or out on their very nice waterfront deck, covered and uncovered! There is something here for everyone!! I would highly recommend this treasure of a find on the bay in OC,MD!! You’ll leave so much happier then when you arrived!!
Dinner with a View
Today was the first time we visited BJ’s and we will definately be back. It is a rather large casual restaurant overlooking the bay…with lots of ducks, geese and even a blue heron. Aside from all that the food and service were very good. They have mainly fish and seafood with some beef and chicken dishes. They offer a large selection of appetizers as well as a full page of sandwiches as well as salads, soups and dinner entrees. I had the Maryland crab soup which was described as being “very spicy” . It was very well seasoned, but not spicy hot. A very good soup. I also had a salad with grilled salmon, greens and fruit…also very good.
Good Food, Good Value
Wife’s favorite OC seafood restaurant. Other than very busy, this is at the top of our seafood list.
Very Nice Dinner
What a delight after being unsure of how restaurants are often in the off-season. I thoroughly enjoyed the stuffed flounder special (a real bargain). My wife had a good NY Strip. Good service. Reasonable prices. Nice view of the water shortly after sunset, watching the heron fishing.
Great Food and Atmosphere
On a cold Saturday in January, BJs is a warm, welcoming dining experience. Happy hour had a packed bar area, but did not impact service. French Onion Soup was wonderful, Caesar salad fresh and crisp and the broiled seafood entree was ample and delicious. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable and, even tho busy, kept an eye on our table. Great place and open year round!
Had a fine dine and great time…
We try to stop in to BJ’s whenever in O.C. The fun atmosphere sets the tone which is reinforced by the attentive service. Backed-up by yummy food (try the 12 ounce lobster tail if in the mood for a splurge), BJ’s will put a smile on your face . . .
Great Food and Atmosphere!
We dined here on New Years… We ordered the cream of crab soup which was Delicious! I ordered the crab cake meal which included 2 sides… Even though the restaurant was very busy due to the holiday our waitress was very attentive to our table… We have eaten here before and the food is very good! Plenty of parking and its located on the Bayside so if you get a chance to eat here request a window table to enjoy the water!
Went there last Friday night. Had the clams casino, and seafood potato skins. Casino was out of this world with flavor, seafood potato skins where good. Surprised how many people where here, in the off month of November. Live music, and excellent staff and bar tenders.
We decided to go to BJ’s for the 1/2 off Crab Cake dinner special. The place was busy for an early evening in October so we decided to eat at the bar. The food was good, the view of the sun set was beautiful and we did’t have to wait until 9:00 PM. In fact it was still happy hour as the sun set.
Dinner on the Water
Great food stuffed flounder and seafood medley were both plentiful and good. It was a quite night there but we did not mind. A nice view of the bay for dinner probably really nice in the summer.
This restaurant is a go-to. Have not been there for many years, but a return trip brought out the same reaction. Great food, good drinks, and a view to make the evening one to remember. Sandwiches, salads, seafood allow a variety to please any palate. I am so glad that I returned. Watch out for the sneaky, over fed seagulls who provided food vacuuming on the deck; you drop it –you lost it! A must see in OC!
Lunch on a Rainy Day
We had a table by the window so we could see the ducks and the geese on the bay. Nice view and nice table. Waitress was great and the food was good. Would say this is a good place to have lunch. The bar looked like fun.
Great Restaurant and Bar!
My friends and I ate here for lunch and dinner while enjoying the Ocean City experience. I especially like the combo chicken/seafood salad that is available for either lunch or dinner. A great seafood restaurant that is friends and family friendly.
Another great week at BJ’s
We are on vacation this week and we always make it a point to hit BJ’s for dinner. We actually went twice this week, and both meals were great as usual. The service was outstanding also. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anybody visiting Ocean City Md. Very consistent food and service.
I didn’t need to ask the wife where she wanted to eat on our anniversary! This our hands down favorite restaurant in OCMD! Great food beautiful sunsets! It’s usually our first meal when we get to town!
Vacation! Our once a year trip to the Beach!
Our food was delicious! And our waiter, Rob is awesome!! We will back!! (And will request Rob!). Definitely get the Pasta BJ!
If you miss dining here, shame on you.
This restaurant succeeded in serving up one of the best meals I’ve ever eaten in Ocean City, MD. I don’t know how man “Oh my Gods” I uttered while eating it, but it was a lot. I started with the New England Clam Chowder, and it was great….then on to my entre…..I had the jumbo shrimp, stuffed with their own crab imperial, topped with orange cheese (don’t know if it was a cheddar or sharp) then it was baked. OH MY GOD! It was good…I know for certain that it was in the top 10 of all the meals I’ve ever eaten, and I’m an old fart, so that’s saying something.
Our server was great…stayed on top of things, without getting in the way.
Restrooms were clean and well stocked.
Plenty of parking out front, in their own lot, and there are more than a few Handicap Parking spaces available, which I always appreciate.
A Great Diverse Pub
By far, one of my favorites & most fun. semi-cozy pub up front, to more of a dining room against the bay. Generous portions; I always visit. I’m alone, however, never feel at all lonely here.
BJs Is Just What You Would Expect in an OC Restaurant on the Bay…
Judy and I have been there a couple of times. The fish is local and fresh. The crab cakes are good. For something different try the rock fish. Beer is good…some local. Very casual. Great sunsets. After you eat you can walk around and look at the birds as the sun sets. I would recommend this place. We would return.
We had a late lunch. Service was efficient and friendly. Food was delicious. I had French onion soup, and Caesar salad with grilled chicken. Both tasty. Salad was particularly good, not over drenched, but lightly coated. Hubby had Maryland crab soup, and crab cake sandwich. Both good.
The Best Stuffed Flounder
We ate at BJ’s on a Monday night, and had a table within minutes. Some of us had the cream of crab soup and others the Maryland crab and both were amazing! The Stuffed flounder was fantastic, so fresh. We always eat at BJ’s, one of the best places in OCMD
On the Bay
The view here is of the bay, but nothing wrong with that, had the shrimp with crab imperial, was fantastic. $1.00 draft beer before 5, ice cold, daily feeding of ducks at 1PM. Would go back without a doubt!
Best Maryland Crab Soup and Duck Feeding
Have been going to BJs for 20 years. First started coming for the 1:00 duck/geese feeding when kids were little. The food is good with the Maryland crab soup being the best I’ve had. We still love the feedings and they always give the kids, now teens, corn to feed as well. Service is friendly and competent and bay view cannot be beaten.
Great Food and Sunset View
Food was great very fresh staff was very friendly the sunset view is wonderful They use peanut oil for fried menu items, the fish was prepared perfect.
“Beautiful view with good food and more”
So we went to Bj’s on the Water expecting just a view and good food, and got so much more ! After dining, we went outside on the wrap around deck and enjoyed up close and personal the geese in the water swimming and diving for food! In addition there were ducks, and also an osprey with its nest. We had a wonderful dinner with a view and pleasant outdoor entertainment. We plan on going back again in a month with our 8 year old grandson.
Always have a great meal here. Nice to watch the sunset as you eat dinner. Great service! This restaurant is our absolute favorite place to eat in Ocean City.
Hadn’t been to BJ’s in a while and I’m glad I had the chance to return. The food was fresh and the service friendly and attentive. I decided on the steak sandwich and it was a delightful meal. It’s truly an 8oz. New York strip steak cooked to perfection on a sub roll. The steak had great flavor and made for a filling meal. The chicken salad ordered by my husband was loaded with chicken breast and looked fresh and delicious.
I hadn’t ordered a salad because we had just come in for sandwiches but I spied some being served and they looked fabulous. Crisp greens with an variety of vegetables, kind of made me wish I had one. Looking forward to going back.
Rob, our waiter, was the best. He was hilarious, and a great entertainment. Everyone loved their food, especially I, the BLTOM was delicious, along with the fries. The view was amazing; watching the sunset go down.
“Great food year round”
One of my favorite restaurants in Ocean City it’s a great place for lunch or dinner. Excellent seafood and some of the best crabcakes and stuffed flounder I’ve ever had anywhere. Also a rawbar menu with clams and oysters in season. Try and get a seat by the bayside windows for the 1:00pm “duck feeding” show–they toss corn to about 200 wild ducks who show up each day for the food. This is a favorite spot for Ocean City locals and is open year round. They also have a lively bar scene in the evenings and feature local bands on special occasions(call for information about which band and which evening).
“gorgeous view, good food, good service”
Excellent swordfish. Spectacular views on the water. Very nice service — helpful and attentive without being overbearing.
“Something for Everyone”
BJ’s is quite diverse in its ambiance. You can eat inside in the wood-lined bar area, in the bay front dining room, or on the deck. Our large group had excellent wait service on the three occasions that we were there during our vacation. The food is good, Bloody Marys are fabulous, and you can’t beat the Happy Hour specials. On the weekend they host local bands for your live entertainment. Just be aware that they don’t provide separate checks for groups.
“Great view! Great Food! Great Entertainment! Awesome Service!”
This place has some great specials. While the other restaurants often jack up the prices in the summer, BJ’s continues to offer great food and entertainment at reasonable prices. I highly recommend the Seafood Skins appetizer. The Wedge Salad is amazing! The Chicken Salad sandwich is amazing! I’ve also tried many of the seafood dishes and all were fantastic. There are often featured bands and Live entertainment so it’s a great place to dance and have fun. There is also a duck feeding daily around 1pm which is cool and they have a live TV set up to view the Osprey nest. This is definitely one place that is waterfront that you should check out while in Ocean City, Maryland!!
Lisa our sever rocks! She is very attendant. There food is amazing and well cooked. You can sit at the water and enjoy your food bay side! Our family really enjoyed this restaurant
“Good food and clean environment”
Stopped in on May 13th for a quick bite to eat with my wife and son. No complaints. Great service. Just ordered a burger meal, spicy chicken sandwich, and a kids meal. Also had two beers and a soda. Portions were decent size and hit the spot for a quick bite.
We had a $10 meal voucher from our hotel and the bill was about $20 which is terrific for anywhere much less OC.
We saw an ad in the local paper for $1 draft beers from 11am-7pm so we decided to try it! There was 6 of us and it was the best place ever! It is right on the bay so the views are awesome. The food was delicious!!! The service was great!!! Would definately go back!!!!
The food was awesome, the drinks were great, and the service was attentive and on point. Plus, great view! Not bad, Ocean City!
“Great view and great service”
We stopped by for happy hour and we were pleasantly surprised. The view, food and service were great!
Drove into Ocean City for the evening and found this restaurant. The food and service we great. We both had the broiled seafood dinner and the crabcakes were big, meaty and delicious. Onion soup and maryland crab soup were excellent also. Only down side was the caeser salad dressing. Tasted like plain italian dressing. Bar and wait staff were very friendly. We will definitely be back.
“another great experience”
Had a great experience this past Saturday evening. 4 adults and child. Great service. I wanted for nothing. It may have been Maddie as our server? So friendly and attentive. Great burger and roasted red pepper soup. Loved the band Full Circle. Thanks so much for a great time.
“great food and specials too”
Had crab imperial and it was great. With baked potato and cole slaw, also had succotash. The restaurant has specials during the off season and the savings was great.
“Great party place. Very good food. Live music. Our favorite place.”
Great place. Good music. Food is great. Our favorite Ocean City stop for 20 years. Always a good time.
Frank is a riot!
“Great food, cheery atmosphere, right on the bay”
Stopped in to BJ’s on a Saturday. It was busy out on the enclosed deck (60 degrees on Feb. 20). Only two servers but they were really hustling. Did not wait for anything. Someone came to our table immediately and got us beverages. They were ready and waiting when we made up our minds. Had the pastrami on rye toast. Very good. I am actually a corned beef fan when presented with the choice of one or the other. I am glad I tried the pastrami. Generous portion of meat, plenty of cheese, everything nice and hot. Also had onion rings. So hot could not eat them at first. Enjoyed watching the ducks. There is also a big osprey nest right in front of the deck. They feed the ducks there everyday, I think it is at 5 pm. We missed that, were there at lunch time. Can’t wait to go back and will time it to match up with the duck feeding. Place is also clean.
BJ’s is our regular stop when we hit the beach in the summer service is very good friendly the bartenders do a great job assisting you Billy and Madeline are always there making sure everything is perfect and it’s right on the water or I should say in the water great location you should visit this bar restaurant
“I’d definitely return”
Sat on the deck overlooking the bay hotter than blazes but everything was spot on I’d definitely return
– Cliff Brown
Good food and AMAZING views!
Good food and AMAZING views! Good when you want a nice, reasonably priced, lunch and enjoy some of OC’s best views of the bay.
My family usually comes here when they want to grab a burger for lunch.
– Kevin S. of Gaithersburg, MD
Food was good. Salad with crab meat salad was so-so but it had a generous amount of lump crab meat on top. Sunset on the bay was worth it.

“Seafood skins are to die for and a must”
Always good year round. I am locale and can always count on BJ’s for a great meal and a good drink. Seafood skins are to die for and a must. Drinks are good and made right. Service is great too. My only slight rash to BJ’s is smokers to side of front door. I would move smoking area around side and out of the way. No one really wants a whiff or walk through cigarette smoke when entering the restaurant. Other than that it’s great
– John M. of Ocean City, MD
It’s not a good idea to eat crab cakes in the middle of winter, even though they were the 1/2 price special, they tasted like it. My husband enjoyed his chicken very much. The sunset on the bay was awesome.
